My name is Jessie and will be your main contact concerning BraveHeart bengal kittens. I hope that this page will help answer at least some of your questions concerning our kittens. If you have more questions, please feel free to contact me. You can find a link to photos of our available kittens at the bottom of this page. However, we do ask you to please read through this page first.
May we visit your cattery?
Yes, we encourage you to come visit. How else will your new bengal kitten choose you? Please contact me to make an appointment. You will be visiting with us here in our home as our kittens are raised in the house so that they are well adjusted to the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
When can our new kitten come home?
Here at Braveheart our bengal kittens are not allowed to leave for their new homes until they are at least 12 weeks of age, and sometimes will hold on to them as long as 14-16 weeks of age. At this age kittens are more confident and won’t be as stressed going to their new home as they would be at a younger age. This is in the kittens best interest, so please do not ask if we will allow a kitten to go home at a younger age.
Do you ship kittens?
Yes we will ship kittens to the continental USA. We usually ship through Delta’s Pet First program out of Nashville. The cost of shipping is a flate rate of $250 which includes the airline fee ($175), the carrier, the health certificate and some gas money as our nearest airport is almost two hours away. Please keep in mind that airlines have temperature limitations in place for the safety of the animals. They will not ship if the temperature is above 85 degrees or below 45 degrees at any point on the trip. This makes shipping in the winter or summer difficult.
What are your kitten prices?
BraveHeart pet quality bengal kittens are $550. Breeding and show quality kittens are $1000 for females and $1500 for males. We do prefer to place two kittens together in a home because they seem to adjust even better. Due to this, we offer a buy one get the second one for 1/2 priced deal on our PET QUALITY kittens. If you are looking to find a less-expensive bengal, you may want to look into adopting a cat from the Bengal Cat Rescue or a retired adult.
Our kittens come with a health guarantee (7 day replacement for any reason and 1 year against congenitial defects), have all age-appropriate vaccines, and wormings. When you buy a BraveHeart kitten you can be confident that what you are getting is a happy, healthy bengal kitten!
Deposits:
Once you are preapproved you can place a deposit on the bengal kitten of your choice. A $100 NON REFUNDABLE deposit is required to hold a pet kitten and a $250 non-refundable deposit is required to hold a breeding quality or show quality bengal kitten. If you decide you do not want the kitten due to various reasons, you may use your deposit towards a different kitten in a future litter. You do not need to put a deposit down to be placed on the waiting list. We accept cash, check, money order, or paypal, but please don’t send money until we have talked and I let you know you are approved.
